Northern Jersey, Garden State Parkway

South to Exit 123 onto Rt. 9 South for approx. 11 miles to Rt. 537 East (W. Main St.) Make left at the top of ramp and proceed on 537 East through three traffic lights. American Hotel is on the right hand side (100 yards past South Street).

Southern Jersey, Garden State Parkway

North to exit 98 (Wall) to Route 195 West to Rt. 9 North. Make a right at intersection of Schanck Rd. and Rt. 79 (South St.) Carvel will be on your right. Follow through 4 lights. At the fourth light make a right on Main St. We are 100 yards on the right.

New Jersey Turnpike South

North to Exit 7A. Take Rt 195 East to Exit 16B (Freehold-Rt 537 East); take Rt 537; pass CentraState Medical Center on left. Follow through about 7 lights – just past South Street. American Hotel is 100 yards on the right.

New Jersey Turnpike North

South to Exit 8 to Route 33 East to Rt. 9 South. Pass Barnes and Noble and take Rt. 537 (West Main St. exit) make left at the top of ramp and proceed on 537 East through three traffic lights. American Hotel is 100 yards from the corner on the right hand side (Past South St.)

From Princeton

133 East to 33 West towards Hightstown. Turn left onto Franklin St/33 Est. Continue to follow 33 East (about 11.5 miles). Take 537 East ramp towards Freehold, turn slight right onto 537/West Main St. Follow through 5 traffic lights. American Hotel is 100 yards from the corner on the right hand side (Past South St).

From Trenton

29 South towards Bordentown. 29 South becomes I-95 East 9 (about 17 miles). Merge onto 537 East via Exit 16B towards Freehold (will be on 537 about 11 miles). Pass CentraState Medical Center on left. Follow through about 7 traffic lights (past South St.) American Hotel is 100 yards on the right.

From Route 18

Rt. 79 or Rt. 537 towards Freehold. Come to the center of town (light at Center St.) Proceed on Main Street, American Hotel is on left (prior to South St. intersection).
